Summer Series of Comedy
Lo Hud Comedy Night
With:
Doug Adler
Growing up in Rockland County’s Spring Valley before becoming a transplanted New York City native, Doug Adler’s unique, “kinda hip jewboy” style transforms everyday life, an autobiographical cast of characters, and topics like “the mother-in-law” into one-of-a kind humor. Having performed in the New York Underground Comedy Festival in 2008 and 2007, Adler performs regularly in New York City at Gotham Comedy Club, New York Comedy Club, Broadway Comedy Club, Ha! Comedy Club, and Laugh Lounge. Doug urges you to see him perform or else you’ll have to answer to his mother-in-law.
Joanne Filan
Having developed a following from fans, fellow comedians, club owners and producers with a unique style that leaves audiences anxious to hear what she will say next, Joanne Filan’s audiences expect the unexpected, whether a story, a tangent, or an impromptu exchange. Trained at the American Comedy Institute, the Upright Citizen Brigade Improv, the Eddie Brill Comedy Workshop and Becky Donohue and Comix Comedy Club, Filan has appeared at Bryn Mawr College, Universities Lehigh, Monmouth, Shippensburg and St. John’s, as well as most all the notable clubs in NYC.
Charles McBee
Born and raised in Toledo Ohio, graduated from Bowling Green State University with a BA, moved to NYC on an acting scholarship to attend The New York Conservatory for Dramatic Arts, Charles McBee has performed in Off Broadway plays including Raw Love and To Seek A Newer World. He currently writes, directs and stars in his own web series called It’s A Chucked Up Life. He is also a contributing writer and cast member on The Late Night New York Variety & Talk Show.
