A Closer Look: The Hudson River
Joseph Squillante, who has been photographing the Hudson River for more than 35 years, will reveal the inspiration and creative process behind his work.
Travel the Hudson River through the photographs of Joseph Squillante. Explore the river through some of his traditional images of 30+ years and view his new body of work that looks at abstract details. Gain a behind-the-scenes look at worlds not readily accessible: a wildlife biologist capturing a bald eagle, abstract details of the Palisades rock formations, a Stealth Bomber in flight, and more. This presentation discusses many of the photographs in his exhibition of the same name at The Beacon Institute of Rivers and Estuaries, which can be viewed through March 2.
