19th-Century Parlorcraft Circle
Learn to create an 1830s reticule (a small handbag) or an 1890s bow tie (an essential part of the Victorian wardrobe) with the New York 19th-Century Society. Materials, supplies, and instructions will be provided. The New York 19th-Century Society promotes the study and understanding of life in 19th-century New York, uniting historians, scholars, artists, philosophers, dreamers, and impresarios inspired by the time period.
