Salon: From Thought To Object
(A facilitated critique and discussion group) One of the biggest challenges most artists face is isolation. Social media is a wonderful addition for many who work alone, but it doesn’t make up for the kind of exchange that can happen when a group of artists meet to share thoughts on creativity and the development of ideas into finished works. Using presentations of individual work, we’ll cultivate a supportive environment in which to discuss and critique the work presented. These discussions will be conducted in a positive manner that encourages each of us to move forward with our work. The group is limited to 8 to allow a balance of critique time and group discussion.
