Lost Raver/Empty Future: A solo exhibition by Shamus Clisset
Clisset’s work is an amalgamation of digital art, which he describes as being created “directly from the void,” or as “objects and images [made] purely from data” through the use of computer modeling. The union of these seemingly disparate forms, via digital manipulation, creates a unique and haunting collection of images. He describes his work as “a glimpse into a space that doesn’t have any physical reality.” It is this illusionary alternate dimension where he seeks to venture into worlds of mysticism, hallucination, and intoxication.Shamus Clisset (aka FakeShamus) is a New York based artist working with 3D media, including modeling, rendering, and animation.
