Rehearsals Spring Concert

On the evening of Tuesday, January 14th, members of Westchester Choral Society will meet for the first rehearsal for their Spring Concert.
The concert will feature “Words of Shakespeare”, Songs and Sonnets by George Shearing, and
Serenade to Music by Ralph Vaughan Williams.
WCS welcomes new members at its first rehearsals each season. Interested singers may attend one or two open rehearsals before scheduling a ‘singer friendly” audition. For the 13th year in a row, WCS has the continued good fortune to be guided through rehearsals by Music Director Frank Nemhauser, who brings knowledge, enthusiasm and humor to the group. Members love the rehearsals that are stimulating, musically challenging and highly rewarding. In addition to holding the baton for WCS, Nemhauser serves as Music Director for the Berkshire Choral International and is both director of vocal studies and associate professor at Mannes College of Music in New York.
Rehearsals take place on Tuesdays from 7:00 pm to 9:3s0 pm at the Music Conservatory of Westchester,
216 Central Avenue in White Plains. For additional information on the chorus and its upcoming concerts, visit www.westchesterchoralsociety.org. Follow us on Facebook.
