Talk & Tour with Pat Lasch

Explore The Neo-Victorians: Contemporary Artists Revive Gilded-Age Glamour with featured artist Pat Lasch, whose feminist sculptures explore both the celebratory moments and the societal constraints imposed on women.

Lasch has been producing artworks for nearly four decades. She was elected a National Academician in 1995, and her work is represented in the Metropolitan Museum of Art and the Museum of Modern Art.

#HRMNeoVictorians examines the contemporary revival of interest in ornamental lushness and dedication to craft that once defined the style of the Victorian era, with works of art from more than 20 contemporary artists that conceal pointed social commentary beneath seductive surface techniques.

Part of Yonkers Arts Weekend events. Museum admission #FREE all weekend, #HRMPlanetarium tickets additional cost. See what’s happening at other Yonkers Arts Weekend venues here: http://yonkersartsweekend.com #YAW #YAW2018
