Reverse Drawing

Make a portrait collage of a funny face with magazine papers, line drawings and doodles you create in a process called reverse drawing – a printmaking technique but without the press! This project is inspired by the artwork, Cheveux de Sylvain by Jean Dubuffet. The workshop includes demonstration and discussion so you can easily learn the process of reverse drawing. Students will be able to create their drawing and use oil paint in the first session and finish with collaging in the second session. Pelham Art Center will supply the materials for this workshop.
