NRCA DJ Dance Party and Live Sound Stage at the New Rochelle Street Fair

As part of New Rochelle’s Annual Street Fair on Sunday, September 10th the New Rochelle Council on the Arts is sponsoring TWO sound stages with a DJ, dance demonstrations, live music and spoken word presentations from 11 am to 5 pm. At the corner of Division and Main Streets enjoy DJ Islam spinning your favorite tunes all day, with dance demonstrations by Zumba by Olga, Delphi Dance Ensemble, Capoeira Luanda, and New Beginnings Dance. At the corner of Memorial Highway and Main Street emcee Steve Michaels will present live music by Glenwood at 11:30 am, Intuition at 1:30 pm and Jimbo Ro at 3:30 pm, with spoken word interludes from the “For the Love of Words” writers’ group.
