Nine-Year-Old Student Set to Rock Conservatory
On Feb. 28, the Music Conservatory of Westchester will host its student Matthew Welling at is 216 Central Avenue in White Plains, NY as he performs tunes off his new album “You Be The Rock Star.” Welling, a nine-year-old Music Therapy student at the Conservatory for the last five years, will perform several tracks off his debut album – a combination of piano, drums, and singing. The youngster was directly involved with the production of each of the 12 tracks on his debut album, which includes original songs and covers. All proceeds from the album sales will go to the Music Therapy Institute. The event starts at 3:00 pm For more details, please contact [email protected].
