Description

NRPL celebrates Women’s History Month with a screening of ON THE BASIS OF SEX (2018), starring Felicity Jones as a young, struggling attorney and new mother named Ruth Bader Ginsburg, who takes on the case of Charles E. Moritz v. Commissioner of Internal Revenue knowing the outcome could alter the courts’ view of gender discrimination.  Also starring Kathy Bates and Sam Waterston.  Directed by Mimi Leder.  120 minutes.  Rated PG-13.
