Manhattan Chamber Players
Friends of Music Concerts begins its 70th season by presenting Manhattan Chamber Players, a collective of New York City-based musicians that has been featured frequently on NPR’s Performance Today program. They have been singled out for their “fascinating program concept.” The lineup for this concert includes String Quartet No. 2 by Philip Glass, Piano Quintet in E-flat Major, Op. 44, by Robert Schumann and the Concerto for Violin, Piano and String Quartet in D Major, Op. 21, by Ernest Chausson. Join us as we celebrate 70 years of presenting the finest in professional chamber music!
