Harrison Public Library presents “A CLEAR VISION: Paintings by Sheldon Snyder”

Exhibition is on display Tuesday September 3, 2024 to September 27, 2024.

Artist’s Statement:

Organizing flat geometric shapes and using minimal colors I paint the subject in a conceptual way excluding the inessential.

About the Artist:

Sheldon Snyder studied art at the Brooklyn Museum Art School, the High School Of Music And Art, classes at the Modern Art Museum and at Syracuse University. He has exhibited in Tel Aviv, the Bronx and, often with his daughter Tova Snyder, in Westchester County. Along with painting he has worked in wood and and made toys. He has written and illustrated a number of children’s books.
