Downtown Music Presents: Lanny Paykin, cello & Cullan Bryant, piano

Cellist Lanny Paykin has appeared with the Metropolitan Opera Orchestra, the American Symphony Orchestra, and toured Asia with the New York Philharmonic. His honors include the Juilliard Alumni Award and the Paderewski Foundation Award. He has performed at festivals in Paros, Greece, Morocco, St Barts, and at Classical Tahoe in Nevada. Pianist Cullan Bryant has appeared in recitals with members of the New York Philharmonic, Metropolitan Opera Orchestra, the Orchestra of St. Luke’s, New York City Ballet Orchestra, New Jersey Symphony, Boston Symphony and the Detroit Symphony Orchestra in venues including Weill Recital Hall, Merkin Hall, Alice Tully Hall, the Metropolitan Museum of Art and Detroit’s Orchestra Hall. Cello sonatas of Boccherini and Grieg will be featured.
