1:00 – 2:15 PM
Improv Jam with Coleman School of Dance – leading an improv jam with live music emphasizing the importance of play and joy of movement with interaction for people of all background and abilities. www.colemandance.com

2:30 – 3:30 PM
A-Y/dancers 2:20 – 3:30 PM – -Y/dancers, a modern dance company founded by a dancer from New Rochelle, presents a program of delightful contemporary choreography. The company directors will perform works of cutting edge contemporary movement, and then will invite the group to help them make a new dance on the spot, using tools that professional choreographers use in the studio.

3:30 – 4:00 PM
Dance Ministry Institute (DMI) founded by Robert Evans, provides a place where people from various churches and diverse denominations can come together to receive technical dance training coupled with Biblical application. DMI will perform two dance excerpts from NATIVITY: Birth of a King. This full scale dance drama unveils events surrounding the birth of Jesus Christ through the artistic expressions of dance and song.

4:00-5:00 PM
Accent Dance – Accent Dance’s mission is to inspire youth through dance education; to enlighten through multicultural dance performances; and to empower through lasting community partnerships. By cleverly combining elements of ballet, hip hop, salsa, jazz, and tango, the organization’s programming connects each dance style to themes of history, multiculturalism, literacy, self-discipline, creativity, local pride, and mutual respect. The troupe will perform pieces by Pedro Ruiz, Dardo Galletto, Steven Vilsaint, and The Accent Dance NYC team.
