ArtsFest 2022 will take place in New Rochelle and Pelham from October 20^th through 23^rd  this year. Organized by the non-profit New Rochelle Council on the Arts (NRCA) ArtsFest is designed to celebrate the diversity of arts and artists in our community, with open artists studios, live music and dance, film screenings, pop-up art exhibits, and interactive activities for all.

In 2021 hundreds of people visited the 36 participating venues, enjoying free art exhibits, demonstrations and performances representing the work of more than 120 artists. It was a great weekend, highlighted by artist Charles Fazzino’s open studio, family fun at the historic Paine Cottage, a classic car show, and the ArtsFest Music Festival and ArtsFest Dance Festival as well as our first ArtsFest Artisan Market. This year in addition to those activities NRCA is collaborating with the renowned Copland House to present the world premiere of a new work by composer Steven Snowden, working with Bridge Records to present a concert featuring pianist Steven Beck playing the George Walker Piano Sonatas, joining forces with the NRAA and Healthy Yards initiative to feature exhibits of artwork in local gardens,  and offering a free guided trolley tour of New Rochelle’s exciting street art, the 20 #NRNY Murals.
