A lifelong fascination of science, medicine, and nature continues to inspire and influence Coico’s  artistic journey with encaustics; a medium that is difficult to manipulate and somewhat unpredictable, but that’s exactly what captivates the artist’s imagination. The spontaneity in creating with bee’s wax keeps him wondering what will happen next. This exhibit is about discovery, movement and the unique, mysterious blending of wax, colors and fire.
