The Symphony of Westchester All Romantic Concert
Multiple award-winning violinist Tessa Lark will close The Symphony of Westchester’s concert season on May 6, 8:00 p.m., at Iona College’s Christopher J. Murphy Auditorium.
Lark will perform Jean Sibelius’ Violin Concerto, op. 47 in D minor as part of the Symphony’s all-Romantic program, which also includes Gioachino Rossini’s The William Tell Overture and Bedřich Smetana’s The Moldau.
Lark has appeared with orchestras in Cincinnati, Louisville, New Haven, Hawaii, Santa Fe, Indianapolis, Cheyenne and Santa Cruz and internationally with the Chinese Opera and Ballet Symphony. Her many festival credits include Marlboro, Yellow Barn, Music in the Vineyards, Steans, Ravinia and Music@Menlo.
Christopher J. Murphy Auditorium is at 715 North Ave., New Rochelle.
