The Peekskill Film Festival

The 9th Annual Peekskill Film Festival will launch on Friday, July 26th at the Paramount Hudson Valley Theater with the premiere of “Creep Box,” directed by Cold Spring resident Patrick Biesemans, and preceded by a block of short films.  The festival will continue Saturday, July 27th and Sunday July 28th.  The Festival is supported by The Field Library and the Paramount Hudson Valley Theater.

The Festival is coordinating with the City to have a free outdoor screening of the Academy-award nominated film “Nimona,” and the Festival will sponsor an introduction by one of the film’s directors, Nick Bruno during the evening of the 28th .  In addition, the Festival is  hosting a panel discussion  moderated by Jane Applegate, “The Future of the Entertainment Industry: How to Succeed Despite the Chaos.”

The rest of the films that are selected will be announced in early July, and they will be posted on Festival’s website,  https://peekskillfilmfestival.org .
