Tarrytown, NY – March 10, 2019 — The Lagond School of Music Honors & All-Star Bands will perform at the Jazz Forum in Tarrytown with legendary blues and jazz guitarist and vocalist ‘King’ Solomon Hicks on Sunday March 10.  The band is made up of New York’s top young musicians, under the direction of world-class saxophonist Charlie Lagond and perform a diversity of music styles.

Lagond Music School uses an innovative, dynamic approach to music education, teaching applied music theory and live performance, and fostering deep levels of discipline, commitment, expression and achievement in its students. These practices, and the resulting skills they foster, broaden and enrich students’ lives in the process, helping to identify and develop academic and career potential.

Founded in 2002 by Charlie Lagond and Rosanne Lana, Lagond Music School has built an accomplished and dedicated faculty of working musicians. Lagond students typically go on to attend top music conservatories and universities, and garner an array of prestigious musical accolades and opportunities.

The school also takes special pride in its strong bond with its broad community of alumni and their families who regularly return to attend shows and connect, perform with and inspire the current crop of Lagond students.
