Small Works Show
Works in a variety of media – all 15 inches or smaller are featured in the 12th Annual Small Works Show at the Mamaroneck Artists Guild Gallery beginning Thursday, March 31, 2016 and continuing through Saturday, April 23, 2016. The work in this exhibition, selected from entries from across the nation by the juror, Kenise Barnes, demonstrates incredible creativity and skill achieved by artists working within the limitations of fifteen inches or less.
A reception where the public can meet the artists will be held on Saturday, April 9, 2016 from 3:00 – 5:00 p.m.
Kenise Barnes is a gallery director, independent curator, exhibition juror and art advisor. She has degrees in Fine Art and in Women’s Studies. She gained early experience as the specialist in charge of contemporary art at Christie’s East. In 1994 she opened Kenise Barnes Fine Art with the belief that art is essential.
Gallery Hours are Tuesday – Saturday from 12 noon – 5:00 p.m.
The Gallery is located at 126 Larchmont Avenue, Larchmont, New York. Admission is free.
This exhibition is made possible, in part, by ArtsWestchester with support from Westchester County Government.
