Saturday Sketch: Fashion Design with Briana Bright

Curious about fashion? Join Briana Bright, fashion art director, designer, artist, youth mentor, and founder of Bright Vzn, for a series of four 90-minute sketching classes that will cover key areas of fashion design and marketing. Attend the entire series, offered once a month from October through January or join select sessions. Inspired by No Bodies: Clothing as Disruptor. Teens and adults of all skill levels are welcome. Coffee will be served.

Briana Bright has been making clothing since age 11 and interned at Baby Phat while she attended high school. After studying fine art in community college, she enhanced her design skills at the Fashion Institute of Technology. With over 10 years in the fashion industry, she has worked as a stylist assistant, textile designer for Victoria’s Secret, senior designer at Kate Spade, and an art director for Trimera Brands. She transitioned to freelance art direction in advertising, collaborating with brands like Pepsi, American Airlines, and Lexus. In 2018, she founded Bright Vzn, a consulting firm offering art direction, branding, web design, and more. Currently, she is the Art Director for Moche, a luxury brand she co-created, overseeing all aspects from design to marketing.
