Inside the NEU: The Making of “Destination: Latin America” with Curator Patrice Giasson
Sit in on the (pre-recorded) conversation as Patrice Giasson, Alex Gordon Curator of Art of the Americas at the Neuberger Museum of Art, discusses the making of the exhibition Destination Latin America, Modern and Contemporary Latin American Art from the Collection of the Neuberger Museum of Art.
Listen as Giasson, the show’s curator, describes to host Ursula Morgan the inspiration and history behind the exhibition, where it has toured, and how the works have been received across the country. Hear the stories behind the art and artists as Patrice shares his insights on several of the paintings, sculptures, digital works, and a live performance piece that shares similarities with some of today’s most striking societal issues.
This prerecorded video and related content will be live on the museum’s NEU To Do webpage from Monday, July 13, through Sunday, July 19.
