Artist’s Statement & Bio:
My art history goes back to 1966 when I started trying to learn art in a small college in New Bedford Massachusetts. In 1975 I moved to NYC as a VISTA Volunteer. The city gave me the courage and inspiration to start showing my work. I showed at the Bond St. Gallery and was a member of the Ward Nasse Gallery from 1980-1984. When I moved to Westchester County in 1978 I started showing in local spaces—Hudson River Museum, and the Bronxville, Larchmont, Irvington, Mt Kisco, and Harrison Libraries. I am also a proud member of the Mamaroneck Artist Guild. My process is working from photos that I have taken on my travels around the country.
