Downtown Music Presents: Wenbo Xin, viola & Yiying Niu, piano

Violist Wenbo Xin, winner of the Fuchs Chamber Music competition, who has appeared with the Mannheim Philharmonic and the Orchestre de Conservatoire Royal de Liege, and made music for the Queen of Belgium. In the summer of 2022, he received a full scholarship to participate as a young artist in the Kneisel Hall Chamber Music Festival. He is joined by pianist Yiying Niu, has appeared in recital through Asia, Europe and the United States. She is the recipient of the Helen Cohn Award for Outstanding Work in Chamber Music, and a winner of the 2023 Lillian Fuchs Chamber Music Competition.
