Colonial Westchester: A Bus Tour of Historic Homes

By 1775, Westchester County was the most populous and richest of the 12 in the colony, yet today buildings from the colonial era are rare.

Join us as we explore the historic architecture that has been preserved in the greater Scarsdale area, including a home believed to date back into the 17th century, a home where George Washington once dined and another that served as his headquarters during the war, and another that was used as headquarters by British forces! Many other colonial-era homes will be featured, with interesting histories all their own.

From the comfort of a charter bus, you will see and learn about some 20 historic buildings and homes, including several special interior stops! The tour will include the greater Scarsdale area.

The bus will depart from the Scarsdale area at 1:00 p.m. Exact location details coming soon.
