Cool Cats screening followed by a live musical performance from the Julian Lee Quartet

In the 1960s, jazz legends Dexter Gordon and Ben Webster traveled to Copenhagen for a life-changing experience that influenced their music and changed the landscape of the local jazz scene. Over the next several years, the two saxophonists called Copenhagen their home. Cool Cats retraces Gordon and Webster’s journey through the memories of their friends, loved ones, fans, and their own personal archives.

The performance will be followed by a reception in the Jane Peck Gallery.
