Decades: A Journey of Music and Poetry Through the Last 100 Years
Our second concert will feature Peter Seidenberg playing a piece from each decade, 1919-2019. Each piece will be paired with a carefully chosen poem that complements the music in tone and spirit, and was written in the same decade. The poems were curated by former US poet laureate Robert Pinsky. Hui-Mei Lin will accompany Peter on the piano. The poetry will be read by Broadway actors Anitra Brook and D. C. Anderson.
