Beethoven Birthday Bash with The Amerigo Trio

Former New York Philharmonic Concertmaster Glenn Dicterow formed the Amerigo Trio with violist Karen Dreyfus and cellist Inbal Segev.  The Amerigo Trio and Westchester Chamber Music Society will celebrate Beethoven’s 250th birthday with an all-Beethoven program followed by a Wine & Cheese Reception on Sunday, March 8th, at 4:00 pm in Rye.

The program features the Beethoven Serenade in D major, Op. 8, the Beethoven Eyeglass Duo for viola and cello in E-flat major and the Beethoven String Trio in C minor Op. 9, No. 3.

The Amerigo Trio is one of the most recent major string trios to emerge in the world of chamber music, and they have been invited to play at some of the most prestigious concert series in the United States.  The Amerigo Trio is named after Amerigo Vespucci, the Italian Explorer.  The trio is committed to the exploration of the riches of the string trio repertoire, both new and old.

Reserve your seat now to attend this special performance by internationally celebrated artists and meet Glenn Dicterow, Karen Dreyfus and Inbal Segev of the Amerigo Trio at the post-concert Wine & Cheese Reception.
