Westchester Roots

Westchester Roots is a festival series celebrating the living traditions and cultural heritage of Westchester County and the Lower Hudson Valley. Developed in partnership with local artists, community-based organizations and municipalities, Westchester Roots programs are multidimensional, featuring music and dance performances, pop-up exhibitions and foodways demonstrations, as well as hands-on workshops and activities for families and children. These programs are free and affordable, and foster cross-cultural engagement and understanding, helping neighbors to break down barriers, share knowledge and appreciate each other’s artistic expressions, stories and experiences.
