Celebrating community heritage with music and storytelling

Westchester Roots program celebrates the rich cultural tapestry of Westchester County’s diverse immigrant and folk artist communities through free, accessible events like outdoor concerts, street performances, and festivals. Launched in partnership with local municipalities such as White Plains, Mount Vernon, Peekskill, and Sleepy Hollow, it highlights traditions from regions like Ecuador and West Africa, fostering community engagement with live music, dance, and foodways demonstrations.

JazzFest electrifies Westchester County with world-class jazz performances across multiple venues in downtown White Plains, drawing top national and international artists alongside local talents.

Inviting kids to learn, play and grow with us!

This series, designed for kids aged 5-12 and their families, offers arts activities once a month when an exhibition is on view. Gallery tours and hands-on workshops bring the exhibitions to life, giving audiences a creative space to explore the themes behind the artworks.
