Westchester Chamber Music Society presents the Amerigo Trio with Glenn Dicterow

|

The Westchester Chamber Music Society, now in its 67th Season, is delighted to present the Amerigo Trio with Glenn Dicterow, former Concert Master of The New York Philharmonic.  Following is the March, 18th program, which will start at 4pm:

Schubert Trio

Handel-Halvorsen: Violin and Viola Duet

Kodaly Duo for Violin and Cello

Intermission

 Beethoven E-flat String Trio

Post Concert Wine & Cheese Reception with the Musicians

The Amerigo Trio is one of the most recent major string trios to emerge in the world of chamber music. Former New York Philharmonic Concertmaster Glenn Dicterow formed the Amerigo with violist Karen Dreyfus and cellist Inbal Segev after their successful collaboration at the Bowdoin International Chamber Music Festival.  In the short time since the group’s founding in the summer of 2009, they have been invited to play at some of the most prestigious concert series in the United States.  The Amerigo Trio is named after Amerigo Vespucci, the Italian Explorer.  The trio is committed to the exploration of the riches of the string trio repertoire, both new and old.

Don’t miss the opportunity to attend a performance of these internationally celebrated artists and to speak with Glenn Dicterow, Karen Dreyfus and Inbal Segev at the post-concert reception. Tickets available at www.WestchesterChamberMusicSociety.com.  Free Admission for all students.
