WAMO Fall Classical and More Concert

|

Come join the first no-audition, all-amateur orchestra in Westchester County as we play our fall repertoire.  Masterworks by Beethoven, Dvorak and Saint-Saens plus a special movie-themed piece all in a relaxed environment, perfect for a Sunday afternoon and the whole family.  Westchester Amateur Musicians Orchestra welcomes you all and hopes you will consider joining us for this special event as well as considering joining our group.  Never an audition; all levels of musicians accepted.  WAMO is the only orchestra in the county led by an experienced teaching professional, acutely aware of the specific needs of adult returning musicians.

William Eckfield, conductor: Former orchestra director at White Plains High School, Eastman School of Music graduate, former Rochester Philharmonic Orchestra and Dallas Symphony Orchestra member,  past president of the Greater Westchester Youth Orchestra Association and the Westchester County School Music Association, current organist for the Holy Trinity Lutheran Church in New Rochelle and principal bass and assistant conductor of the St. Thomas Orchestra.
