People’s Music For Today

BEN GROSSCUP uses the power of song to amplify and accentuate the ideas and values of the transformative social movements he is part of.  His songs make no apology for their biting critique of current events. Based in Western Massachusetts, he plays at rallies, conferences, coffee houses and house concerts, and he is working on his debut CD release.

He serves as the executive director of People’s Music Network, a diverse community of singers, artists, activists and allies that cultivates music and cultural work as catalysts for a just and peaceful world.

LINDSEY WILSON is a NYC singer-songwriter privileged to have performed at the BMCC Tribeca Arts Center, Joe’s Pub, and the renowned Walkabout Clearwater Coffeehouse. She is a board member of the newly developed non-profit organization Kupanda Sisters, Inc. and currently works as a Career Coach for young adults (16-24)  at a non-profit organization called Eckerd Connects.  On Sundays, she sings as the Musician-in-Residence at the Riverdale-Yonkers Ethical Cultural Society. Lindsey has been honored to perform with folk and jazz singing notables as DuPree of the duo group Casselbury and DuPree, Bev Grant, Judy Gorman, Mike Glick, Barry Kornhauser, Daniel Carter and Bern Nix.   In 2011, she formulated the band The Human Hearts Trio with Reggie Sylvester on drums and Michael Trotman on bass. The trio has performed extensively throughout the city and tri-state areas.

DILSON HERNANDEZ is a multi-genre artist from the Bronx. His talents range from spoken word to playing various instruments to singing. He wishes to change the world with his art, aiming to strive for a more progressive and creative future. He works with New York City youth as a teaching artist with Urban Art Beat. Dilson is also a manager at Funkadelic Studios.
