Walkabout Clearwater Coffeehouse presents: Tom Chapin in concert

“Tom Chapin has an easy, appealing way with songs about emotional connection, grassroots protest and personal commitment.” (Rolling Stone)

“Warm spirit, infectious humor, and sensitive satiric songs … one of the great personalities in contemporary folk music.” (The New York Times)

Tom Chapin has enjoyed a career that spans five decades, 23 albums and three Grammy Awards. He comes from a family that encouraged artistic pursuits – his father James Chapin was a well-known jazz drummer and his brother was the popular folk-rock artist Harry Chapin. As a concert performer, songwriter and recording artist, Tom is considered a master of both family-friendly songs as well as those more appealing to adults.
