TOMASEEN FOLEY’S “Irish Times”
Tomaseen Foley and his troupe bring traditions from Ireland in stories,
dance, music and song to celebrate St. Patrick’s Day.These folk entertainers
recreate the joy and innocence of the Celtic past. Neighbors gather round for
the laughter and storytelling, the joy of music, and fancy foot-step dancing.
Long before Riverdance, ordinary Irish men and women in hobnailed boots stomped
on the flagstone floors with jigs, reels, and hornpipes. The rafters rang with
the fiery music of the fiddler, bodhran, tin whistle, and mesmerizing
uilleann pipes. A holiday spectacular for all ages!
