Organization Overview
The mission of Westchester Community College (WCC) is to provide accessible, high quality and affordable education to meet the needs of our diverse community. The College is committed to student success, academic excellence and lifelong learning. To reach these goals WCC’s Cultural Arts Program called Smart Arts is designed to bring to the campus unique and intimate artistic performances by exciting, world-class performers in order to develop, maintain and increase the size and cultural-socio-economic mix of our audience. Since its inception in 1993 Smart Arts has grown in its ever broadening range of programming, its increasing on campus student /faculty/staff involvement as well as in reaching out to the external communities and forging outside organizational group collaborations and partners.
