The Walsh-Drucker-Cooper Trio

The Westchester Chamber Music Society is excited to welcome this amazing trio of artists to our exceptional space in Rye. This intimate setting with stellar acoustics provides the perfect atmosphere for enjoying chamber music as it was always meant to be appreciated.
Eugene Drucker, founder and member of the world famous Emerson Quartet, formed this trio with his wife, the cellist Roberta Cooper, and the pianist Diane Walsh– and what a wonderful constellation!  Walsh, Drucker and Cooper first performed together at the Skaneateles Festival in the Finger Lakes region of New York in August, 2001.  Since that time, the Trio has been praised by critics and celebrated by chamber music audiences as one of the world’s finest ensembles.
The Trio plans to open the concert with Mozart’s Trio in E Major followed by the Argintinian composer Piazzolla’s Three Tangos. They will conclude with Dvorak’s Trio in F Minor.
All guests are invited to enjoy a post concert wine and cheese reception where they can mingle with the artists and other community members. Tickets can be purchased on our website or at the door. Seating is open and students are encouraged to attend all concerts free of charge.
