The Fine Arts Quartet
The Westchester Chamber Music Society is thrilled to present The Fine Arts Quartet in a most intimate and acoustically ideal setting in Rye.
This distinguished ensemble will play Haydn, Op 71-2, Saint Saens No 2 and Schumann Op 41-1. The Fine Arts Quartet, founded in 1946, has contributed a brilliant musicality and expert instrumental technique to the American chamber music scene for well over half a century. Based at The University of Wisconsin-Milwaukee since 1963, this group has recorded prolifically and tours internationally. The Washington Post claims they are, “one of the gold-plated names in chamber music.”
Seating is open, tickets may be purchased at the door and students are always encouraged to attend free of charge. A wine and cheese reception follows every performance where all patrons are welcome to meet the artists.
