The Blues Brothers
In their look-alike suits and Ray-Bans, “Joliet” Jake and Elwood Blues (John Belushi and Dan Aykroyd) stepped out of Saturday Night Live and onto the big screen with this hilarious comedy. To raise money to save the church-run home where they grew up, they put together an epic concert—including Cab Calloway, no less—and James Brown, Aretha Franklin, and Ray Charles pop up along the way. Also starring John Candy, Carrie Fisher, and Franz Oz, The Blues Brothers features plenty of memorable lines and the best car chases in any music movie ever.
