Summer Sounds Concert Series at Hudson Park Rain Date Concert

The Summer Sounds Concert Series has extended its season to offer two bonus “rain date” concerts. On Friday, August 30th at 7:30 pm the summer series concludes with a double bill Salsa Night featuring Edgar Suarez and Manny’s Boogalooi Crew.

Edgar Suarez is a salsa and merengue vocalist born in Santo Domingo who has performed at festivals and in singing competitions in the US, Ecuador and his native land, while “Manny’s Boogaloo Crew” is a Latin funk band led by Eusebio ‘Manny’ Montanez, al Rumbero born in west Harlem and raised in the Bronx. His band lays down cool Afro-Cuban Rumba, laced with Funky R&B sounds, pushed by the Latin mellow of the Boogaloo groove. Bring your dancing shoes as we say goodbye to summer!
