White Plains, NY (January 2019) – Cupid will strike in just a few short weeks, and what gifts will he bring to sweethearts? On February 13 and 14, local residents can surprise loved ones with a special Singing Valentine from one of the Westchester Chordsmen Chorus award-winning quartets who will glitter Westchester and surrounding areas serenading songs of the heart to that special sweetheart in one’s life.

Clad in tuxedos with red bowties and vests, the quartets will travel to homes, offices and restaurants to personally deliver Singing Valentines (two love songs and roses) to sweethearts of all ages. By ordering a Singing Valentine in advance through www.chordsmen.org/singing-valentines/, procrastinators won’t have to rush around last minute to settle on a box of cheap (or, worse yet, expensive!) chocolates. What’s better than a guilt-free Valentine’s Day?

Whether it’s a crush, a growing relationship or a 25-year marriage, a Singing Valentine from the Chordsmen is an unforgettable gift.  Through the years, we’ve sung for loved ones in homes, hospitals, stores, nursing homes, just about anywhere throughout Westchester, Lower Putnam, Rockland and Western Fairfield Counties.”

A Singing Valentine (basic) includes two beautifully-sung love songs, a long-stemmed rose and a romantic Valentine card, (redeemable for two discounted tickets to the Chordsmen annual Spring show). Or ask the quartet to deliver a dozen roses for an even bigger surprise!

About The Westchester Chordsmen Chorus

The Westchester Chordsmen Chorus is a 501(C)3 not-for-profit performing arts group. Its mission      is to spread the joy and fun of singing around to the community, the country and the world. Our  musical repertoire extends beyond our barbershop roots to Broadway show-tunes, doo-wop, traditional, gospel and contemporary songs arranged in four-part a cappella harmony for tenor, lead, baritone and bass singers.

We’ve performed around the world and the US, including Carnegie Hall, with plans to travel again in up-coming years.

Rehearsals occur every Monday night at the Synagogue Kol Ami in White Plains. The Chordsmen’s 65 members come from Westchester and surrounding counties in New York, Connecticut, New York City, and Long Island.
