Westchester CHORDSMEN Chorus is 63 years old, and the only Westchester Chapter of the Barbershop Harmony Society (founded in 1938). Our 80-member a cappella men's chorus entertains regularly all over Westchester and the world. Our repertoire extends beyond our barbershop roots and now includes Broadway show-tunes, doo-wop, traditional, gospel, and contemporary songs arranged in four-part harmony for tenor lead, baritone, and bass singers. Members come from all over Westchester County/Western Connecticut and Long Island, ranging in age from 20 to 88.
Over the years, the Chorus has become well known for its harmonious and engaging music with an uplifting spirit. The Chordsmen are called upon frequently by governmental and charitable organizations. And, the Chorus has done hundreds of public services performances throughout the New York metropolitan area.
