HOLIDAY CONCERT

FREE BENEFIT CONCERT AT WHITE PLAINS YMCA –Saturday, Dec. 12

On Saturday, December 12th the RTOW Orchestra and the Dixieland Express Jazz Band will perform their Second Annual Benefit Concert in the 2nd floor Community Room at the YMCA, 250 Mamaroneck Ave. There is no admission charge although a suggested $5.00 contribution for the benefit of the YMCA’s community programs is suggested. The RTOW (Really Terrible Orchestra of Westchester) will perform at 2:00 PM followed by its sister ensemble, The Dixieland Express Jazz Band. There will be a food/dessert and beverage reception after the concert which is free for the audience members. This will be a great opportunity to support the varied programs of the YMCA which is such a valuable community resource and have fun at the same time. Children are welcome.

The Really Terrible Orchestra of Westchester was founded over 6 years ago and is a 501(3)C non-profit corporation whose mission is to provide an opportunity for adults to play in an amateur classical orchestra under the baton of a professional conductor and to provide periodic free concerts to the community. The Orchestra which is a member of ArtsWestchester has performed throughout Westchester in many Public Libraries as well as other venues such as Adult Living facilities, Nursing Homes, etc. Anyone interested in joining this relaxed, non-audition Orchestra should call Barbara at 914-582-9096.
