Fall Into Jazz… With the Library Jazz Band

The 16-piece Library Jazz Band returns to its home base of the Will Library for the annual Fall Concert, bringing its signature blend of vintage swing and fresh new sounds. This program includes an eclectic mix of tunes, from the classic Moten Swing and Groove Merchant,  to inventive arrangements of favorites such as Wichita Lineman (arr. Matt Garrison), Stoned Soul Picnic (arr. Rob Susman), and Livin’ for the City (arr. Kim Burgie) to original works by Sarah Jane Cion and Dave Levitt. It’s an afternoon of big band energy, creativity, and timeless groove.
