Library Jazz Band

LJB is a dynamic 17-piece jazz orchestra, created to help share the love of jazz, America's own music, as widely as possible. The band features five saxophones, four trombones, four trumpets, piano, bass, drums, and guitar. Our collective of seasoned professionals is united by a shared love for the big band format and our commitment to bringing vibrant, live jazz music to the community. We perform classics from the great big bands - Count Basie, Duke Ellington, Thad Jones/Mel Lewis, Buddy Rich - and our members write and arrange originals as well.
