Ernst Stiefel String Quartet-in-Residence Program Commission

Each year Caramoor Center for Music and the Arts commissions one new work for their Quartet-in-Residence. As a student of soundscape ecology, Patrick Harlin brings a new focus to this annual project. Harlin, a composer interested in soundscape ecology and unique compositional forms, debuts a work written for the Calidore String Quartet.

This event is part of ARTSEE, a festival showcasing new works of art throughout Westchester County in celebration of ArtsWestchester’s 50th anniversary.
