Croton Academy Summer Theatre presents StarKid’s FIREBRINGER!

Croton Academy Summer Theatre (CAST) proudly presents StarKid’s musical comedy, “FIREBRINGER.” CAST is Croton Academy of Art’s summer theatre program for young people ages 12 to 20, and is in its second year.

The show tells the story of a tribe of cave-people who survive the trials of prehistoric life under the wise leadership of Jemilla, The Peacemaker. But one member of the tribe doesn’t seem to fit in – Zazzalil. While out hatching her latest scheme, Zazzalil stumbles upon the most important discovery in history. She travels from omega to alpha and becomes…the FIREBRINGER! ​

“Our amazing cast captures the irreverent humor, energy, creativity and viral songs that the StarKid Team has become known for, starting back when they blew up the internet with ‘A Very Potter Musical,’” says the show’s director Joe Riedel. “Prehistoric times will never be imagined as patriarchal again once you experience FIREBRINGER. I’d like to note that our version is family friendly.”
