Organization Overview
Croton Academy of Arts (CAA), with its own studio and theater space in the heart of the village of Croton-on-Hudson, provides arts programs for children, preteens, teens and adults that foster creativity, communication, self-awareness, confidence and social interaction. When first established in 2003, CAA focused on improvisational and sketch comedy for teens. Today, CAA has expanded its offerings, now offering classes in performance, voice, dance, fine arts, crafts, creative writing and Japanese language and culture for all ages. It also presents a robust schedule of children and teen dramatic and musical community productions and runs a series of performance and fine arts summer camps, and Connections, a performance based after school program at its studio. CAA is a 501(c)(3) not for profit corporation.
