“Classy & Sassy: A Musical Tribute to Lena Horne
Lena Horne was an iconic singer, dancer, actress, political and Civil Rights Activist. She began her career at the age of 16 in the Cotton Club chorus line. Ms. Horne appeared in such musical films as Stormy Weather and Cabin in the Sky and she lit up the Broadway stage in the Tony and Grammy Award-winning Lena Horne: The Lady and Her Music.
“Classy & Sassy” is a fitting tribute to Ms. Horne’s inspiring life and enduring career. Ms. Simpson is joined by an outstanding quartet with Musical Direction by Mario Sprouse.
